Admission Information

BCCAT welcomes applications for admissions from individuals committed to learning English as a Second Language. BCCAT offers conversational English classes from beginner level to intermediate with each level expected to take a year to complete. Admission level will be determined through a standardized written and oral placement test completed as part of the admissions process.

At the completion of each level students will be tested to determine whether they have successfully achieved the requirements of the program.

Admission Requirement (General)

All applicants are required to complete a personal interview with an admissions representative, either in person or by telephone. Personal interviews enable school administrators to determine whether an applicant is a valid candidate for enrollment, whether the candidate has any special requirements and the correct placement level.

The following items must be completed at the time of application:

  • Application for Admission

  • Payment of application fee (non-refundable)

  • A copy of a recognized form of photo identification

All documents must be completed in English.

After an applicant has completed and submitted the above documents and paid the application fee BCCAT will assess the application package and make a determination regarding the applicant’s admission status. Successful applicants will then be invited to schedule a personal interview to complete the admission process. Completed applications will be processed when received and applicants will be informed of the BCCAT decision as soon as possible. The Academy reserves the right to reject applicants if the items listed above are not successfully completed in a timely manner.
